Building Your Dream Home On The South Coast
Building a home is a personal journey, and it should result in a place that genuinely reflects the way you want to live.
At Holmes Building & Design, we specialise in architecturally designed homes as well as custom renovations and extensions across the Shoalhaven, South Coast NSW. Every project begins with listening, understanding what matters most to you, how you want your home to function, and what will make it feel uniquely yours. From the exterior through to the interior spaces, each element of the home is shaped around those conversations.
As local builders based in Culburra Beach, Darren Holmes and Rod Marsh bring decades of residential building experience to every project. With a personalised approach and skilled construction, the Holmes Building team delivers homes that reflect the people who live in them and are built to last a lifetime.

Custom Homes Designed
Around The Way You Live
A home built from the ground up should reflect the people who live in it. Holmes Building & Design works closely with every client to create homes that feel personal, practical and suited to the way they want to live. By forming a genuine working relationship from the start, we’re able to bring together our building knowledge and your ideas to shape a home that truly feels like your own.
Some clients come to us with architectural plans already prepared, while others begin with a vision and a block of land. In either case, our role is to bring the project together and guide it forward. From layout and design through to materials, finishes and budget, each step of the process is precisely coordinated so the finished home reflects what you set out to create.
From early planning through to construction and completion, your build is managed with clear communication and experienced project management. Working with trusted local trades and suppliers, Holmes Building delivers premium homes across the Shoalhaven that are completed on time, on budget and built to stand the test of time.
At every step of the project, our experience allows us to work efficiently, keeping costs under control and remaining highly conscious of your budget.
